How well does this work on automotive upholstery?** A: I find it too rough for upholstery, worked amazing on my floorboard and mats as well as on the cover I use over my seats (designed to protect them from dog hair). I have a rubber edge detailing tool I use on the actual car seats but because of the cover they have minimal hair on them **Q: How do you clean the hair off the stone?** A: I really didn't have an issue with hair sticking to the stone. If it does I would recommend using a rubber bristled brush to get the hair off the stone. The rubber bristled brush is necessary along with the stone when detaining a car if that is the intention. The brush will be used around the edges of plastic to prevent scratching. **Q: Will this work on textured upholstery? Or will it snag?** A: I detailed cars professional for 2 years and this thing is amazing. It does work in most vehicles. I will say it does snag on carpet in cars with cheap carpet. This was the most effective item I bought. It's excellent at pulling out hairs from carpet and boot areas. It will scratch plastic areas so you have to be careful but if you're careful, it's a really good alternative to just hoovering which aften doesn't get the hair out of carpet and other material or takes forever to get hairs out.
