I did check the BP specs and it says to open to 8,5” and the 12.9” iPad Pro claims to have a width of 8.46” so by the numbers would seem to add up, but for me at least I have their multi-arm mount that’s specific for a Jeep JL, 7” arms one for Phone and one for iPad, 10.5” on the passenger side is perfect for my given you can angle and not have it blocking any of the center controls or built in display - when I’m on trail my phone runs a Blue Tooth OBDII running Dash Command which lets me see parametric on trans temps, torque, coolant temps, etc., Jeep display has Car Play for tunes and phone and iPad is running navigation, which the bullet point mount allows to swivel for passenger to watch movies or change navigation as well. Keep in mind at least when I bought mine it didn’t come with a mounting arm, I use a 7” which again is perfect because it’s just enough to clear the dash, but can still angle and get the side of iPad to make contact with dash and offers more stability, I think they have a 10” arm as well which would work better for a larger tablet to move the tablet out a bit more for side/side adjustments. If I change anything it’ll be adding a “two piece” arm to get a little more articulation up/down on the iPads position then adding their radio mount in the center for holding FMRS/VHF or scanner which we usually have out during camping/hunting. **Q: Will this work with a 67 Designs mounting system?** A: I'm looking to do same. I don't see why not. They're both 20mm balls. And neither system is "proprietary" (??) basically 67D set the standard and US manufactures, Bulletpoint is the best quality foreign knock off of the 67D design. This is widely known in the offroad community. Not saying anything controversial here. Do you really think its a coincidence that the price of this is $67? I don't lol. I think they're specifically targeting us 67D owners b/c much as I love 67, sorry I ain't paying more for just an ipad holder than I did for my base mounting system. **Q: can i use this as well on iphone 12 promax?** A: Yes.
