Review: Fantastic! Easy and safe clips! - I got these for riding in NYC where being clipped in could cause some problems and I love them. They're really easy to install and after reading the reviews about them falling off I just put some blue loctite on the bolts and they've held up just fine. These don't take much getting used to and they definitely do give you some power from the upstroke, working more of your legs, increasing speed and keeping your feet in the right spot, especially on hills. I'd recommend these to beginners for sure as they're so easy to get in and out of and let you get used to the "clipped in" experience before having to go through the big learning curve. Perfect for city riding and commuting with work shoes!

They work perfectly, easy to get your foot in and out, but they also serve to stabilize the foot on the pedal and are especially valuable when you hit a bump and your feet might otherwise be knocked off the pedal from the impact. Excellent for in town riding, too, because you can get your foot off the pedal effortlessly if you have to stop at an intersection, etc. On our particular bikes, the bolts that came with the clips were too short, but I replaced them with longer ones from the hardware store for a few bucks and they attached fine. I would recommend these for sure. P.S. They're well made and should last.

**Q: The picture and description are ambiguous -- is this product a set of 2, or do you have to order in quantities of 2?**
A: Legitimate question, I was wondering the same thing. Since everyone has confirmed that there are two, then they should update the Technical Details to state there there are 2, since it currently says that the number of items is 1.

**Q: I'm a women's size 6 wearing a MTB shoe- I'm not sure what size to get. Suggestions?**
A: Just an FYI, the saddle position is centered when you can ride your bike hands free without antics. If you are out of balance than it's off center. Any modern bike fitter who is properly trained can verify this is a simple (but perhaps not absolute rule a FITS YOU) rule in terms of saddle balance.

The plumb line KOP (knee over pedal) is old school and now incorrect as more nuanced fitting has evolved.

Again I'm not saying your bike fits because you can pedal seated no hands, I'm saying your saddle is centered. Now is your knee is the correct position when your saddle centered? That is determined by if your bought the correct size bike frame. That's where going to a good bike shop and perhaps a bike fitter before laying out $5000 is helpful. But most folks outsmart themselves and do it commando. $5k later they leave watts on the bench because of poor bike fit. Proper fit = optimal output. More expensive bike doesn't always.

**Q: Do these work with fitness bike?**
A: If your fitness bike has a standard bicycle pedal, they will work.

**Q: I'm womens 9.5. What size will work? Please note: there is no M/L size to choose from as in previous answer.**
A: A women’s 9.5 is equivalent to a men’s 7.5-8, you should use the S/M according to the package.  I am assuming they’re talking about a men’s size 9 to hen they indicate less than 9 go with the S/M, greater than 9 go with the L/XL.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Go Strapless

I installed these toe clips on my Specialized Sirrus Sport Disc, a hybrid bike. They were easy to install, although no instructions were provided. The hardware included 4 screws, 4 nuts and two metal brackets (mystery metal...have no idea what they are for). I went to my local hardware store and purchased four #10 lock washers (star type) to make sure the screws don't come loose. Don't over-tighten - just past snug is good enough. The choices for size were S/M and L/XL. I wear a men's size 11 shoe, so I went with the L/XL clips. The ball of my foot is positioned correctly over the center spindle on the pedal. The tips of both my hiking shoes and cross-trainers are cradled comfortably and securely. The clips provide solid support and easy entry and exit. Though not designed specifically for increased lift, they certainly do provide an added assist in pulling up on the pedal (or pulling up on the clip), and more efficiency in pushing through and down. For my use, these are probably 5 star toe clips, but minus one star for not providing installation and sizing information (and those mysterious metal brackets which aren't needed...unless maybe they go on the inside of rubber or plastic pedals).
