The brace itself is well made and easily washable, I'm a 34" waist and it fits well although it would be even better if they did different sizes so that there would not be so much excess strap to wrap round for people with slimmer waists. But that's a minor problem for all the benefits it has offered me. I have a back support which sort of helped, but didn't feel as if it actually did much. This lumber support feels more substantial, the pad which rests against your spine does feel that it gives additional support. It is more effective than my old one.
