I was wrong! It’s super glowy and reflects the light from the fire column in a way that the lava rocks just can’t. This one bag was enough to fill two fire columns full! We have been using them almost daily for a few weeks now and the glass looks almost as good as it did when I put it in there. The top layer has become a bit discolored but not black, it’s almost an iridescent shine over the blue. In the daylight the iridescence looks purple.
