No need to disassemble plastic trim. Just unbolt and unplug old unit and connect this new one. Dealership wanted $200 just to diagnose. Part looks, fits and functions like the original Hyundai part. It fit just like the original and works just like the original. If you do have a stuck latch on your Veloster, just crawl into the trunk from back seat and there is a release tab in the latch. You can insert a screwdriver and slide it over to release the latch and open the trunk. After that just remove the plastic trim and unbolt the latch and disconnect the wires.
