My dogs are about 5 lbs each and the XXS is a bit bigger than them. If your dog won’t get bigger than 5lbs, I’d suggest a size down. Mine will get to 7 lbs or so, so I kept this size.The leash is inconsistent (see pic). The red one has a tag and a clip for a poop bag holder and the blue one doesn’t. And the blue one is much longer than the red. There should be one on each side to prevent escape should the Velcro come undone. The buckle is also made to be extremely loose across the top, you cannot tighten it enough to lay flat. I bought an almost identical harness with a proper clasp to replace this one.
