**Q: Is this authentic carhartt? it says made in vietnam but i thought it was supposed to be made in usa.**
A: Yes it is!!! No it’s not made USA!!  According to carhartt website is says •Country of Origin: Imported
I love this bag and it’s very spacious!!!

**Q: Is it snap or zip closure for the east/west style?**
A: The east/west (black) has a zipper

**Q: Is the inside waterproof??**
A: The description said it was rain repellent waterproof so I believe that it is.  It is one reason I bought it.

**Q: Does this tote have an insert in the bottom to keep the structure? I prefer the bottom to stay firm so books and such don’t bend.**
A: The bottom is not extremely firm, but the tote does have some structure. I used it to carry books, notebooks and such for my pre-k students.

This is a perfect teacher bag! It’s large enough to hold my computer, binder, lunch, and purse. It’s not too big though. The small inside pockets hold my phone and pens. The two outside pockets fit my water bottle and coffee cup. It’s sturdy and functional. After 20+ years of teaching and countless bags that didn’t quite fit the bill, this one is a keeper.
