The 1st was their quadrant complete in 8.0” which is still going strong after plenty of abuse in the skatepark and streets as I relearn how to skateboard after a 20-year hiatus. I used to ride a 7.75” back in the day and decided to pick this one up for the nostalgia, and also to try something a bit smaller and more “flippy”.The trucks came loosely attached to the board via the hardware, but a quick tightening fixed this so no worries there. Other than that the trucks on these completes are solid, can withstand plenty of grinds and feel great underfoot. I expect to swap them to another deck after wearing this one out. The deck has taken drop after drop, skid after skid and although it shows plenty of paint wear (to be expected) it has no delaminating, chips or cracks to speak of and still has plenty of pop and overall life left. I think the wheels feel great although they may flat spot quicker than some higher-end options after a bit of sliding. The bearings are just run-of-the-mill but certainly get the job done. A little cleaning and some Bones Speed Cream go along way with them I have found.Overall these completes sell for about $100-110 on Element’s website so if you can snag one (or two) for around $50 here on Amazon, it’s an absolute steal. Plus you are getting decent quality trucks, allen hardware, wheels and even bearings that could be swapped onto another deck in the future.I’m surprised at how nice these completes are and would highly recommend them if you can nab one up at that $50 mark!EDIT: I did notice this complete has different hearings than my other 8.0” quadrant deck from Element. Those bearings are gold while these are black.
