The Raven Bow Trigger is a UK-made, non-mechanical archery release crafted from durable DuPont Corian. ## Description

The Raven Bow Trigger has no moving parts but despite its simplicity it works very well. Using a good release aid can give a tighter grouping together of arrows due to consistent release of the bow string every time and a bad release can ruin an otherwise perfect shot as cheaper mechanical releases tend to be a bit inconsistent on the release as well as being prone to failure. The Raven Finger Trigger release works great with all traditional bows, compound bows and sling bows. The trigger’s design is clean and deceptively simple but the specifics are quite exacting in order for it to work well andwith a simple wrist lanyard to reduce the risk of it being dropped and lost when out on the range and a length of cord so you can fit a 'D' loop if required. Don’t confuse this product with a cheap plastic moulding or plywood (also called multiplex by some manufacturers) it is UK made out of genuine DuPont Corian, Perform exactly as expected and we have had it independently tested to prove it is safe up to a 88lbs (40kg) draw. Simple, effective and efficient! Iit will work left handed. If you use a "D" ring (or a D loop) on the string, you need it to be 7mm or larger

Review: Broke at 50lb. - Less than a year after buying it, using it less than once a week, it snapped when I was at full draw on my 50lb bow. Up until that point, I had been quite happy with it. Great idea, but the plastic simply doesn't seem to be up to the task of repeatedly taking the strain, as required in an archery aid. If there were to be an up-rated version, I might consider using it again, but unless it's metal, I'm not convinced by the claim of 88 lb.
Review: Simple, and Perfect! - Loved it the first time I used it! I have only one comment, the cord supplied for the wrist lanyard is quite stiff, no doubt it will soften, with time, and use, but I'm too impatient for that! So I swapped it for a flat suede leather thong that is much softer! I also added a "bead" to act as a slider for ease of tightening around the wrist, But, that said, this was just personal preference... the Release/Trigger is perfect in operation, just as it is! We archers just love to fiddle and adapt our gear! I use this with a Chinese made Mongol horse bow, shot bare bow, with bamboo arrows. A far cry from the Bear Starfire Compound, and Failsafe release, that I used to shoot in my GNAS Coaching days, back in the 80's!

Yes it will work left handed. If you use a "D" ring (or a D loop) on the string, you need it to be 7mm or larger .

### ⭐⭐ Broke at 50lb.

Less than a year after buying it, using it less than once a week, it snapped when I was at full draw on my 50lb bow. Up until that point, I had been quite happy with it. Great idea, but the plastic simply doesn't seem to be up to the task of repeatedly taking the strain, as required in an archery aid. If there were to be an up-rated version, I might consider using it again, but unless it's metal, I'm not convinced by the claim of 88 lb.
