Due to the airtight design of our fermentation airlock we isolate the air and prevent oxidation. Fastrack brewing airlock exhausts automatically at room temperature without manual intervention.

Review: It only just arrived, so I only gave gotten to test the fit so far, but it's absolutely perfect. I'm brewing cider in a 23L glass fermenter. The bung I got from the homebrew shop just did not fit at all and I had to tape it down for the previous brew. This one fits perfectly, very securely, and the air lock fits just as securely. I was looking at caps and was astounded at their price in Australia. This fella will surely provide a better seal, though. And the hollow design means that it should fit a slight range of diameters with its ability to flex. Simple is best!

Fill the Bubbler Airlock with water and insert the drilled stopper or bung to vent gasses during fermentation. **Q: If they are 90% chance this is made in china how can we know the plastic is bpa free?**
A: Don't see that it matters. Nothing passes through the device into the carboy and positive to static neutral pressure inside prevents air from entering. Zero contact means no chance of transfer.

**Q: Can the airlock be removed from the bung and used with other standard bungs?**
A: Yes, the twin bubble airlock can be removed from the bung.

**Q: what is the height of these from top to bottom?**
A: aloha it is 7 inches.Try making "mead" it is amazingly good even with regular yeast! Add raisins

**Q: Will this fit my 5 gallon class jug?**
A: Yes. The universal bungs that come with the twin bubble airlocks are designed for 3, 5 & 6 gallon glass carboys.

It only just arrived, so I only gave gotten to test the fit so far, but it's absolutely perfect. I'm brewing cider in a 23L glass fermenter. The bung I got from the homebrew shop just did not fit at all and I had to tape it down for the previous brew. This one fits perfectly, very securely, and the air lock fits just as securely. I was looking at caps and was astounded at their price in Australia. This fella will surely provide a better seal, though. And the hollow design means that it should fit a slight range of diameters with its ability to flex. Simple is best!

These are actually great quality for the price. The rubber stoppers are good quality rubber and the plastic is decent quality as well. They work perfectly as advertised. I recommend for anyone interested in buying to check rubber stopper measurements and the measurements of the hole on your jug or carbon to make sure you buy the right size. Would recommend to others and buy again in the future.
