TY** A: My one is the old one that is very sturdy and has a very clear light on it. I think mine was bought Christmas 2013 though. Sorry I can't be of any more help. **Q: my grandchild is only 3 weeks old do you think it would suitable** A: We bought ours for our grandchild at a young age and it actually helped him to sleep. The lights are lovely on the ceiling or walls, and the turtle itself can be placed away from where the child is sleeping, so is safe. My grandson is now three and still loves his turtle light. **Q: does the constellation rotate or is the projection static?** A: It's static. Though adorable, I was a little disappointed with this one, as compared to the one I bought for my father in the States.
