They are party bulbs! **Q: Are these ok for pir switched lamps** A: I think they will be fine, as most PIR switches have relays in them so as far as the lamp is concerned it’s just being switched on and off. **Q: Is the screw in bit quite thick?** A: They are the same size a ordinary bayonet lamps **Q: what is the energy efficiency rating of these lightbulbs?** A: Unbelievable! LED usually reduced the wattage by 90% 60w equivalent for about 6w.
