It does give a nice shine. I use peblo gel painted on in a thin layer. Mod podge works too. They are from the US and will take about 3 weeks to get here but so worth it. **Q: Mine is drying white not clear what am I doing wrong** A: It should not dry white, either something is wrong with what you’ve been given or it’s reacting to whatever you are layering it on. it should appear clear-white when you first layer it onto something, but once it’s fully dry it will be clear. The only thing I can thing might cause it to go white is if you layered it over still-wet white paint **Q: Can you use to seal air dry clay?** A: I don’t think so but have never tried it !
