**Q: can you dip rusty keys in this to remove rust?**
A: use vinegar, just as effective and probably in the cupboardkind regards pauline

**Q: Does the 90ml pot have a brush attached to the lid?**
A: You wouldn't want a brush attached to the lid anyway as it's important not to contaminate the liquid in the bottle with rust particles as it'll cause the chemical to activate in the bottle. Always pour a small amount into a container and work from that. Don't poor left over liquid back into the bottle as that will also contaminate it.

**Q: What colour does it dry ?**
A: Black with a "blueish tone" Ok left as is but would look better with a coat of Hammerite Smooth Black or Dark green.

**Q: can this be used on a BBQ**
A: Once dry, this needs to be painted over. I don't know of a paint that will withstand BBQ temperatures and the constant scraping required. I would remove the rust with a wire brush then coat it with an edible oil. Clean it immediately after use and re-coat with oil to prevent rust forming. Best of luck!

This stuff is not bad. Not quite 5 stars though. I have included a before and after of the frame of my front door which was very, very rusty, due to the displacement of the seal around the frame. The 'after' was after two thin coats of the rust converter, with an hour's drying time in between. Though runny, the liquid is quite easy to apply. Firstly, as other reviewers have stated, pour a small amount onto/into a separate container - I used a teacup saucer. This prevents any contamination of the remaining unused liquid. Before applying, lightly remove any surface rust with gentle sanding. Apply in thin coats with a small artists brush, if you are covering a small area like me. Leave to dry. I would suggest at least 30 minutes - then apply another coat if necessary. Though the liquid did not quite convert all the rust to the required smooth surface area I was hoping for the results were pretty good. It remains to be seen how it performs in the long-term...
