Until this arrived.I can now grate and slice food without my fingers getting in the way and even a plain block of cheese goes through this quicker than what I could manage by hand.It has a strong suction cup on the base that is locked in place with a knob turn, which can require a bit of force but once its locked that grater isnt moving!I have used it for various vegetables and cheese so far and it makes quick work of the task.
