I usually use the liquid type. Compared with other dyes, this is easier to mix, easier to apply and easier to clean up. I'm usually very messy but this dye truly didn't drip. It came off the skin really easily despite me not using the barrier cream it recommended, and it came off my sink without even scrubbing. It smelled a bit like wet dog when I washed it off but the smell soon went once I'd put my serum on.
