Making you think it is the cards that are faulty or the machine (without any error code) to search for what the fault is.We searched everywhere,installed drivers and other software and still could not get the MSR606u to write or erase data."(Untill we plugged it back into the mains aswell as the usb)".The software runs the same as if it was just plugged into just your usb,But this time it reads data and writes data.It cant erase the card data,(so it is a blank card),But it can overwrite data on track 1,2 and 3 giving you a copy of a cards magnetic strip.We used the MSRX Utility program,which looks and runs and looks exactly the same and is legal and free.You do not have to pay or fill in a survey to get this working correctly.We found a site that will let you download instructions,drivers and software.All the files that you need to read/write for free. (No survey,credit card details or installer).If you are just wanting to read a cards data just plug it into your usb port,But if you want it to read/write data on to a magnetic strip you have to plug it in to the power supply aswell.We do not have a clue what all the settings are.This is why instructions would be important.The seller tried to be helpful and always replied to our emails.desertcart customer service was amazing.I found it easy to return a parcel for free with the return label they sent me in a email.desertcart replied to every email i sent and i was able to track my order through the desertcart website.It would be easier if desertcart customer service Email was on there home page.

I ordered one and it was faulty and got sent a replacement.Both delivered 24 hours after i placed my order.There are no instructions or driver,just the software for the MSR606u on a small disc.A PDF could easily be put on the disc with instructions,trouble shooting,FAQ and answers.I feel this lets the product down.A member of staff noticed that when you plug the MSR606 into your PC usb (not in the mains),It lights up,It will read data from cards and it looks like it is working perfect untill you try and write or erase data on to cards.You always get a write error message."Track 1 write error"or a "write error".
