Review: nice - Fresh, fragrant, and high-quality. These are whole flowers that produce a beautiful golden tea with no bitterness. Great bulk value. Will definitely buy again.
Review: Rating: Very Good - Excellent quality. I can't get enough of this. I mix it with my berry tea, green tea, and George's Distilled Aloe. Fantastic. My tummy feels great. Here's why I use this brand: This organic product is CLEAN and vibrantly beautiful. When I open the bag, it smells like delicious honey and chamomile :)!! Based on my observations and my sense of smell, I have no reason to doubt the quality of this product. Here's why I use chamomile itself: 1.) When I was growing up, my mom mentioned a few times that she been drinking chamomile during one her pregnancies. At the end of her term of pregnancy, she was at an ob/gyn appointment and was informed by her doctor that she was in labor and needed to go to the hospital immediately. My mom reported that she had no pain then and that she continued to feel fairly pain-free throughout the labor and delivery. 2.) When I was a teenager and started menstruating, I had the most horrific abdominal pain immaginable each month. I felt like I was going out of my mind everytime I had a period. I could hardly stand, and sometimes I would do abdominal crunches or jump on a bike to try to "work off or run from the pain" because I could not stay still. The pain was too horrible. One day, it occurred to me that since my mom had been able to avoid normal delivery pains by taking chamomile, that maybe I could lessen my misery each month since uterine contractions could be why I was having so much pain during periods. I had also heard that the oil from the chamomile is where the chemical properties reside that help alleviate pain. I still have no idea if that last part is true, but I decided to go by that theory anyway. Here is what I did: I purchased dried chamomile in bulk and made four cheesecloth teabags for each day of the month. Each morning and night I would boil two teabags until the water was reduced by 50%, and then I would squeeze the teabags out into the water, trying to extract as much "oil" from the chamomile as possible. I have no idea if that was the way to do it, but that's the way I decided I was going to proceed. Here's the result: Within less than two months all of my monthly menstrual pain stopped. Gone, gone, gone. In later years, when I started having kids, I stopped experiencing so much pain altogether. I can't remember why that is, but I know it is not uncommon for women to have less menstrual pain after giving birth. 3.) In my thirties, my youngest sister reported to me that she had also tried chamomile during one of her preganancies, and similar to our mother's outcome, she also had no pain during labor and delivery. That's my family history and that's why I like to take chamomile. I believe it has healing/soothing qualities. And while I'm taking it, I might as well take it from a brand I trust. I am not recommending that enyone use chamomile for medicinal purposes without consulting a physician, especially if pregnant. I am only telling my family account regarding the use of chamomile. Highly recommended product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these whole flowers or petals?**
A: these are petals for making tea...and it makes excellent Hibiscus tea. For the benefits of hibiscus tea, go to nutritionfacts.org and just type in "hibiscus tea." He even givens you a recipe for increasing the antioxidants, which by the way are several times higher than green tea. I have bought this product twice and it is an excellent product.

**Q: From what country does the peppermint leaf originate?**
A: I've bought this several times, the last about 2 wks ago. The package says that the company is located in Iowa, NOT that it is grown in Iowa. The Amazon page description, above, does NOT say anything about the location where it was grown, and only makes a vaguely generalized and misleading statement about Oregon. I would be happy if it was grown in Iowa or Oregon or in other states in the USA where the word Organic as a small, but larger reputation than out side of the country.
Please Immediately obtain a specific statement from Frontier as to the location/s where this was obtained.

**Q: Does anyone know if it is roasted after dried? or is it just simply dried?**
A: It is simply dried.

**Q: Does anyone know what the country of origin is on these?**
A: In this case the reference is to city of Norway in the state of Iowa where the importer is located. It is shipped from a small country in Western Africa- its area of origin. Hibiscus sabdariffa aka Roselle is a tropical plant and is grown commercially in tropical areas around the world. It can over-winter where I live in San Diego in warm protected areas so I have grown some for fun but not enough for all that I use. It is very popular here and all over the world. I like to add grated fresh ginger, cinnamon and a bit of citrus juice like lemon, lime, orange or tangerine. Enjoy.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great taste , high quality . Nice blossoms .
*by A***N on November 23, 2025*

Great chamomile taste , earthy fragrance . Strong and brews up good . I just brew it up loose in a big , big glass cup and drink it straight , no sweetener , chamomile blossoms floating in my herb tea . I suppose some natural honey sweetener would be over the top in taste , but I like this tea earthy with flowers floating in the cup . This is typical very high quality , from Frontier Co-op . The best .
