**Q: How do you fix the cable through it?**
A: cut the middle out to fit so plastic rose with cable fits

**Q: I need to cut the centre of this to make the diameter larger to fit a light fitting I have, do you think this is possible or is it too fragile?**
A: Mines was broken when it arrived and it was impossible to cut it to fit.  It’s fragile

A: Its been up a while now ,but I thnk it was about 3/4 of an inch ,maybe a little more,at the center of the rose.
