It's the best fighting game i have ever played. The cutscenes in the story mode make it feel like an actual story mode not just one pointless fight after another.Seeing as i have never played it before i was a bit lost with the story at first but i got into it really fast.(its light hearted,dumb and self aware) Cool characters.I really liked the whole new young squad thing trying to live up to parents. The actual gameplay is so great and fluid. Not sure why as the last incarnation I played was the excellent MK vs DC Universe on the xbox 360.In 2017 nothing has changed and me and my sons were treated to a huge dose of Mortal Kombat Mayhem with MK XL. A huge roster of characters guarantees hours of fighting fun.
