Review: Really bright, good picture, I was impressed - Too bright if anything! I wanted it for late evening use but it's too bright for that, would keep me awake! Really decent though - if the brightness control actually did something it'd be perfect. Most people, I imagine, would worry it won't be bright enough... I don't think that'll be a problem!

I can scan or photograph my sketches, load them onto my laptop or ipad, adjust to the right size and then transfer as many times as needed. It has a very bright bulb which is fine to see on all but the sunniest days (I rarely have to close the curtains). The image is bright and sharp, and focusses well at (approx) 12 inches. The image adapts in real time as you manipulate it on the ipad, which is essential when trying to fit it onto the cookie. I wouldn't be without it - I used the ipad camera lucida app for ages, which has the advantage that it's cheap, but looking at both the work surface and the ipad raised above it wears out my eyes and my brain. The pico is much more comfortable to work with. Small and neat and easy to pack away. The battery time is good, I get a handful of hours to work with, and then I just use my phone charger to charge it up (or keep working). If you use it with an ipad you'll need an extra hdmi to ipad converter cable thingy that's appropriate to your ipad connection. (It comes with the cable you'll need to connect to a laptop or desktop). I bought the apple version of the connector rather than a knock off, which wasn't cheap. Sometimes the set up doesn't work - it just doesn't pick up the signal from the ipad. It's not the projector, as when this happens I just plug into the laptop and use that instead. It's either the connector cable I bought or the port on the ipad. But that's neither here nor there. One niggle is that because I'm pointing it downwards, in front of me on the desk, the image is upside down (you can see the set up in the attached photo). This can be adjusted but you have to go through several steps in the settings, all of which are awkward because all the writing is upside down until you get to the last step (of course!). This has to be done every time I set up, and it would be nice to be able to make it a permanent default setting if I wanted.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I've seen conflicting comments on this question: does this unit have an audio output connection or not?**
A: Yes, the LED Pico has a headphones out jack. http://www.aaxatech.com/products/led_pico_pocket_projector.html

**Q: Does it run while charging? or just get 80 mins streaming and then will have to recharge again?**
A: I was running this all the time on a charger/ac adapter 5v/1 amp output....but now every 60-70 minutes it turns off, green light goes out-red light goes on....any ideas?

**Q: Is there a tripod in the box?**
A: My previous answer is incorrect. It does come with a TINY tripod. My husband had taken it out of the box and I did not realize it. It's extremely small though. I ordered a larger one as an accessory.

**Q: What are the supported media formats? Does it support SRT subtitles?**
A: Yes it supports SRT files. Just make sure they are named the same as the movie file.It even plays .mkv files and displays the subtitles encoded within the .mkv file

### ⭐ Good product but poor focus.
*by S***E on 15 August 2016*

Good device but let down by the focus. as soon as you take your finger off the focus, it de-focusses meaning you can't easily get it to focus. Returning for refund.
