I have just completed an 'activity' quilt for a 3-year-old little girl who is having cancer treatment and experiencing the emotional trauma this brings. I made several of the owl toy patterns and other ideas and tucked them into hidden pockets of the quilt. They are delightful and yet not too difficult to accomplish. The patterns are included, together with instructions. Despite being an experienced needlewoman I picked up a lot of useful tips to reproduce the myriad items for the home. Tasteful and crammed with lovely photographs.
