It arrived yesterday and was installed in less than half an hour, the screw fixings for the pipes with flexible hoses made it a total breeze. My one concern was that once a week I need to be able to attach a garden hose fitting for my aquarium vacuum. With our old tap you could just unscrew the aerator and screw a hose adaptor on by hand, but that is not possible with this tap. However, after a couple of hours of research I discovered that you can do it with two things: (1) a G1/2 male to male fitting and (2) a G1/2 female to hose pipe fitting. You can then unscrew the entire extendable piece of the tap and fit the parts on. I ordered them yesterday and they work great (see picture), with no leaks, and can be fitted quickly by hand when required.
