Then I apply to face. **Q: Is porcelain or shell ivory lighter? I don't get a lot of sun** A: I use cover girl bisque ivory powder over this. I use shell ivory...which I can't believe fir first time matches my skin exactly. I have light to medium skin with hint of rosiness in my face. Which I hate. This coverage is definitely lighter skin...lIke a sand color without any red tone or yellow tone. SHELL IVORY = SAND COLOR. THEY HAVE MATTE OR DEWY LUMINEUX VERSION. I am currently using the dewy version...not matte. It seems a bit heavy..but the magic is how u apply. Buy one of those silicone tools to spread foundation. Dont use sponges. U waste alot! On my chin..I put 3 dots across chin. With silicone spatula spreader tool I can lightly spread it from chin up to above lips and right below eyes. A little goes a long way and...it stays on all day! I think it's slightly water proof. It doesn't smear off when I sweat. My skin tends to be dry. I'm 50. It makes my skin very sift..perhaps oil in it? Might be too much if your young and have oily skin.
