Review: Not for me - In theory is a great idea but very flimsy and very hard to install
Review: Not as strong as claimed - The posts of both brackets broke off when installation was attempted (by a professional contracting crew). They followed all instructions, including weighing the piece of wood. And I'm upset because I can't return them (wouldn't write a bad review if I could get my money back.) The break was at the point where the round post and the flat end meet. The post just came right out. There doesn't even seem to be any welding to join the two pieces and nor are there screw thread attaching the post to the flat end. I chalk this up to a bad purchase on my part. Buyer beware.
