The first one I tried was ZQuiet. The concept was right on...It advances your lower jaw by 2mm or 6mm depending on which one works for you (they give you both). It definitely helped my snoring. However, because of this, it loosens and moves your lower teeth. It is not a boil and bite, so your teeth are not settled into the device. It really hurt my teeth. The second one I tried was SnoreRX. Same concept as the first, but is a boil and bite. This thing is huge! There is no way to close your mouth. You are forced to be a mouth breather. It was a bit tricky to set it up as well and was not comfortable in any way. I never slept with SnoreRX. I returned it the day I received it. Okay, so the Tranquillam...amazing! The boil and bite process was incredibly easy. It does not advance your lower jaw, but it doesn’t hurt my teeth. I can close my mouth and it is so incredibly comfortable. There is some drooling at first and a few days of getting used to it, but it stopped my snoring from the first night on. You can’t open due to the design, so no talking once it’s in, but I’m able to drink water through a straw in the middle of the night if I’m thirsty without taking it out.
