Also high in other nutrients, and versatile as a cooking ingredient, but be careful of how much you use as the flavour is strong and can be overpowering. It is approx half sucrose, so that bit isn't so healthy!I use molasses in baking, to add to hot chocolate (use less cocoa, and add the nutritional value), peanut sauce, even as a sweetener in home made ice cream (in moderation).I bought this enormous tub on the S&S scheme. Even a heavy user could not get through that by the BBE date - November 2013.
