I am seeing both in sets on Amazon. Both are called "Joy".** A: They are the same design but different colors and materials. The one with the red clip has SHINY plastic barrel, grip section and cap, with red clip. This set has softer, MATTE black barrel and grip section - which feels very nice to hold, and aluminum cap with black clip. The rubberized matte black grip sections that come on this set are my favorite - I like to put them on my other Lamy pens - Safari, Vista, Al-Star and LX.
