Today I executed my 51st shave on one blade. As a result of daily cleaning/sharpening with the RazorPit the result is ever bit as smooth, close and comfortable as my second use of the blade. Frankly, I have no idea how many more shaves I will get with this one blade, but 51 is truly astonishing. At this rate I may need only 6-7 blades for a year's use instead of my usual 30-35. I have at the very least cut my blade cost by at least 75%. The cost of the RazorPit is in the range of an impulse purchase - but it has been an eye-opening and astonishing purchase. The blade manufacturers cannot be overly happy about this product. I purchased the Teneo model because it is the coolest looking of their range - looks good on my vanity shelf and has a storage spot for the razor and the extra blades.
