Review: Technically a cleaner rather than a sharpener... - I’ve been using this for around 4 months and I have to say it’s a fantastic product. I was sceptical at first as it was being hyped as a sharpener but in reality it cleans the blades (which is also stated on Razorpits website) making them last that little bit longer. When I say “..little bit longer” I am still using the same blade I had when I bought this back in mid-August. I want to champion this too as it’s a win for the consumer, it saves you money on blades which nowadays if you buy branded ones (like myself) can be quite expensive (for instance a pack of 8 blades of a certain brand can cost 15 pounds which to some is a decent chunk to spend). Now I can stretch remaining blades I have long into next year. Other reviewers (you can find different versions of this product under Razorpits name on desertcart) here have put it better than me but this is well worth a purchase whether you’re a man or a woman. It works. It’s simple. It saves you money and I’m kicking myself for not getting one sooner. Bought a nice new gilette razor with one blade only in the hope that it would last me for a year... when I first started using it (after each shave just 3 or 4 pushes along it to clean) I couldn't really tell if it was working, as it's not like a traditional stone blade sharpener or anything... 3 months later, still using same blade, still sharp, clean, no irritability, no rashes, cuts well... so, i guess it works!! It dries quickly, good value, I should save a bunch and help the environment by hopefully having just one blade a year.

**Q: Why does this have the option for repeat deliveries, does it need continuous replacement?**
A: This is a razor blade sharpener - don’t know why it’s advertised as “continuous replacement”? Use mine all the time to re-sharpen my Gillette 5-blade razor.

**Q: Does the razorpit work effectively with the philips oneblade razor?**
A: I haven’t used it with a Philips oneblade so I couldn’t say. However it doesn’t work well with my Gillette blades.

**Q: Could any of you nice gentlemen please tell me which razor works best with this in your experience**
A: Gentlemen would have needed to use multiple types of razors to respond knowledgeably, and we often stick to one type. It doesn't "sharpen" of course, it essentially pulls the dirt from off the razor face (sticky rubber). And as it's rubber, it deforms to closely hug the razors. I would imagine that means it works pretty much the same with any type of razor. It's OK; it cleans the razor. But does that make the razor last so much longer you make your money back on this? The jury is out.

**Q: Can I store my shaver in the razorpit?**
A: No you can't. The Razorpit is just a solid block for cleaning and refreshing, the blade/blades, of your razor.

I was sceptical at first as it was being hyped as a sharpener but in reality it cleans the blades (which is also stated on Razorpits website) making them last that little bit longer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overpriced but appears to work.

Overpriced. It’s basically a rectangle of rubber. So doesn’t need to be that expensive. I was v sceptical. You basically slide the razor over the rubber pad in reverse direction to shaving a few times after each shave. So now I’m 3 months down the line with the same Amazon 5 blade razor, and still going. It’s the longest I’ve used a razor for. It must therefore be working! It immediately begs the question if you slid the razor backwards over palm of your hand or some other bit of rubber would it have the same effect? But in summary despite my skepticism I’m going to have to admit it works but it loses a star for the silly price.
