Also you just pull a couple out of the packet and you know you wont have hassle seeing if you get them on the right hands.THEY ARE NOT FOR HEAT OR KNIFE PROTECTION!They are great for handling food. Either I wear these or I have to keep washing my hands.They are thin polythene. I like this because you can still feel the food you are handling. They are smooth. I've had some in the past that seem to be a bit stiffer with a simple pattern on. I prefer these because the other ones were a bit big (I had no choice in the size - Bigger ones to have 'flappy' finger ends. These - I chose the small size - fit well and I'm really pleased with them.They are not like mechanics 'rubber gloves or nurses 'rubber' gloves so would be no use for working on the car. The variety of possible applications for medical type protection makes it difficult to say if they would be ok to use when washing or taking care of someone's hygiene - my GUESS - would be ok for light things.
