It definitely has a "plastic" look (which is what it is) and I envisioned more of a "painted" look but the red color was very nice. For the money this was a very nice mod and much easier than taking the dash apart and painting it. Review: I recommend this product - It's not as bad as most people say it is. Alot of reviews say the driver side doesn't fit as good but it fit fine for me. The only issue is the passenger side, it doesn't sit centered in one of the AC vents but I guess I can live with it.
