To be fair the leather apple case had saved the ipad from damage during the two or so years of use, but it has suffered. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the approx £60 apple case and decided to get this.....and I am glad I did. It is a good fitting case, it looks good and the price is good. The one thing I will say that is different to the apple case is there is less protection at the bottom where the speakers are. My daughter says the volume seems slightly louder, but I would say the trade off is that there is a little less scratch protection, be it only minimal. The materials are great. The color is exactly as it is on the picture. The case feels very sturdy in the hand, has a nice coating and sits firmly in your hand; it has a great grip. The cover is flexible and not flimsy at all. It is fully functional, and when folded to be used as a deck, it is very stable.The case grips perfectly around my iPad Air - when you set it in, it clicks. One thing to have in mind is that it surrounds both sides of the tablet and protects their edges completely; however, the top and bottom side are fully covered only up to the corners.- i.e. the middle parts of the bottom and top edges are not covered. And its a steal, given how ridiculously overpriced the Apple-designed cases are. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money *by P***S on 7 October 2019* Not in the same league quality wise as the official Apple full cover case (however, unless rooting around on eBay it's pretty unlikely you'll find one as the model is pretty old now). Overall the aforementioned are simply tiny niggles. The JETech case is perfectly sound. Very snug fit, sleep mode is a little finiky (there's been a couple of occasions where it didn't send the iPad to sleep and the next time I went to use it the battery was drained. doesn't escape me that this could also be combining with my own user settings so it could as much my fault as the cases I just haven't bothered to look because 98 times out of 100 sleep mode works fine when you close the case on the screen. I fully recommend this case despite its small flaws and or niggles. It isn't as good as Apples own version but it's also in its own right a perfectly sound case.
