It's perhaps the "wrong sort of plastic". Might th colour black have something to do with it? **Q: Can I also use this as a orchid foliage spray ?** A: I would think so, yes. Start with very dilute and check that any deposits left when leaves dry can be wiped off. Also can spray any surface roots. **Q: Do we use this as food for the Orchid? And give it once a month?** A: Yes, it depends of the season as it is spring you need to focus on the bloom rather than the grow. I use a 500ml water spray to water the bark and the plant a little, with warm weather you can water them more than once a month, remember Orchid come form humid countries. Instructions suggest to water the plant one only water and the next time you water a mix with water and the product. **Q: used bloom as per instructions, the flowers on all my phalaenopsis orchids are withering. should i have used fed them when they have their flowers?** A: I use this product about every second week, just a couple of drops into the water when I water them. Either if they don’t have flowers on or if they do. I soak them in water for about a few hours them take them out of the water and then leave them out without any water for another week or two.
