## Description

The most versatile pan in your kitchen, the USA Pan Seamless standard loaf pan works perfectly for yeast breads, quick breads (banana bread anyone?), pound cake or even meat loaf (That’s right…we said meat loaf!). The standard loaf pan (8.5 x 4.5 ) is the right size for any yeast loaf recipe using 3 cups of flour (or just a bit less). Our loaf pan features a unique corrugated surface which provides air circulation all around for better browning, more even baking and super easy release. The loaf pan’s surface is finished with USA Pan’s proprietary AMERICOAT nonstick coating, a nonstick silicone - which allows easy release of baked goods from the pan and makes clean up a breeze. AMERICOAT is always made without PTFE, PFOA and BPA. USA Pan bakeware is made with aluminized steel, the material of choice for commercial bakeries. Steel for maximum strength and long term durability and aluminum for superior heat conductivity. Do not exceed 450°F (230°C). Please note, our bakeware conducts heat efficiently, which may require you to reduce the time and temperature as necessary. Hand wash bakeware in warm water with mild dishwashing soap using a sponge, rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not place in dishwasher. We recommend using only silicone, nylon or wooden utensils. Review: I am a repeat buyer of USA Pan loaf pans. Their nonstick works well, better than the budget pans with thin coating that does not last. The only way to damage these is by using a hard sharp metal instrument on the surface, but because they simply turn out the breads you will never need to slice that bread inside the pan (and gentle use of the back of a rounded non-serrated butter knife won't harm the coating if you absolutely are not inclined to remove the bread to slice it.) BUT - as a "Pro tip" - breads cut fine when turned out and typically should cool at least a few minutes to let the steam inside do it's thing before slicing, but if you insist on out-of-the-oven-warm, let the bread sit in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then turn out on a cutting board, THEN slice. The particular size 8 x 4.5 x 2.75 works well for me for weekly bakes of bread for toast for one or two people. (I also have the larger 9' pan which is great for bigger sourdough loaves, and both the pans are perfect for the baking capacity I need - smaller for breads for one or two, the larger for company. Shape of the pans is perfect for loaves for toast or sandwiches. These cost a bit more than the budget pans but they do not wear like those cheap ones, so you don't have to replace your loaf pans after a few bakes - the coating and construction is real value for the money. The finish and appearance are nice, the silvery finish also wears well. These pans kind of "self-season" to a slightly golden color over time, which does not affect their nonstick qualities in any way. If I was a first-time baker I'd invest in at least one or two of these because of their quality, sturdiness and overall fit for purpose.

I am a repeat buyer of USA Pan loaf pans. Their nonstick works well, better than the budget pans with thin coating that does not last. The only way to damage these is by using a hard sharp metal instrument on the surface, but because they simply turn out the breads you will never need to slice that bread inside the pan (and gentle use of the back of a rounded non-serrated butter knife won't harm the coating if you absolutely are not inclined to remove the bread to slice it.)
