You get a 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, a compact form factor with no bodypack or wires, only 6ms of latency, and operation in the 2.4GHz ISM band for pristine signal transmission with no dropouts. Plus, the rechargeable Li-ion batteries last up to 5 hours per charge, and the U2's transmitter and receiver are housed in tough ABS plastic to stand up to life on the road.

Review: Ok… these are not really expensive, high-end systems. However, they ARE reliable, easy to use and relatively cheap. So, cheap, in fact, and so reliable that I have 3 of systems. I use two xmitters on the same channel (one at a time, of course)and one receiver plugged in to the amp. for multiple instruments. I’ve had a drop-out once or twice during a two week gig. But that was due to my dum-a$$ move of putting my IPhone down on the pedalboard. The thing I Don’t like is that they seem to have skimped on the diameter of the plug ground sleeve. It doesn’t seem to have enough “grip” on the jack. Now, I’ve not had a dropout that I could directly attribute to that “somewhat” undersized plug. But they DO seem to be a little loose in the jacks. As I said, I own three of these sets and the looseness didn’t dissuade me from buying two more. Bottom line, it’s very good value for the money, considering how crazy expensive these wireless can get. Latency is not bad. I’m not one to dance around or wander around; I just the freedom of my guitar, banjo, and fiddle. not being tethered.

Ok… these are not really expensive, high-end systems. However, they ARE reliable, easy to use and relatively cheap. So, cheap, in fact, and so reliable that I have 3 of systems. My first thought was I was getting a wireless that may or may not sound as good as the cable. I was wrong. They sound better. They have a high output. The battery lasts for a long time and its great to be able to walk away when needed and still play.
