A: Align the new wooden plank next to the one that has already been screwed into place. Position spacing guides in between. Place the upper clamping jaw in the previous joint and the lower clamping jaw on the outer edge of the new board and clamp it.

A: Use the spacing guides in the desired joint size. Especially in combination with the optionally available spacing guides (art. no. 6986000), they grant a clean and uniform laying pattern on your deck.

**Q: How thick are the clamping jaws? Do they fit in the joints?**
A: The clamping jaws have been developed specifically for the construction of wooden decks, so that they fit perfectly into the narrow cracks and are ideal for the exact alignment of wooden boards.

**Q: How does the conversion to the one-hand clamp work?**
A: Simply push the two included turquoise clamping jaws onto the existing clamping jaws. You can use them to clamp workpieces without damaging the surface. The V-groove also enables you to secure round workpieces reliably.
