The exercise vary from easy to difficult and allow you to test your knowledge. By completing it, you should be able to sit the level music tests. The exercises are really engaging too. Note, it does have some hints and knowledge bits but it is not a learning book (i.e. read it to learn level 1), it's an exercise book like a mock exam. I found the book engaging too, as well as relevant.
