Can it produce a layer less than 1mm thick (roughly the thickness of 3 or 4 playing cards)?** A: I bought it to use to condition polymer clay, and the thinnest level gets close to that, if not even thinner. **Q: how thick does this go? can it go to 1/4 inch or more?** A: No, I think the widest setting is more like 1/8th". Very good, has a bolt with it so it doesn't move from the table while you're using it. I find some residue from the clay sticks to the wheels so you just have to clean it with a wet wipe before swapping colours but this is to be expected.
