I switch between the 32oz Hydroflask in the picture and a 40 tumbler, and this cushion holds either one securely. The tumbler fits best in one of the round pockets, but the water bottle is too wide for anything but the middle. The middle section is nice because it’s so versatile. When I don’t have my water bottle in there I’ll use it for a book or my Kindle.The cushion itself sits very sturdy on the couch. It balances well and doesn’t slip around. I had a lot of water spills trying to balance my tumbler on the arm of the couch before I bought this, but now even with my older kid hopping all around me everything is secure. An added bonus is that I can keep extra stuff on hand: in one pocket I have a hair clip, hair ties, baby nail clipper (gotta take advantage of those naps!), lip balm, and eyeglasses wipe.It feels a little cheap, and there really wasn’t a color that looks right with my house, but it is so functional for this stage I’m in right now and I can absolutely see my kids using it on sick days and movie nights in the future.
