Luckily I had read this might happen and was prepared with a piece of string! It nearly landed on my foot though, so I would suggest tying it in place before use. I have not had them long enough to find out how long they will remain usable, but so far they have done their job well.Before ordering them I looked at earlier reviews and noted that a previous reviewer had complained that they only had two clips for attaching them to the tool instead of the four required for stable attachment.
