## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this clay soft enough to make a memorial paw print :(**
A: It's much softer than other brands so should work well. Might stick a bit of too warm though

**Q: is this water proof/weatherproof once baked? will it be suitable for an outdoor ornament?**
A: I doubt if any polymer clay is suitable for outdoor projects. However, if the baked model is thoroughly coated with some sort of waterproof varnish the result might be satisfactory. Also bear in mind that that baked polymer clay is rather brittle and is easily damaged.

**Q: is this non toxic?**
A: Hello, Sculpey III polymer clays are non-toxic, man-made modeling materials. There is a faint odour when modelling with it and when baking but it is a safe material to use with children and once baked it is permanently hard. It isn't recommended for making crockery for use with food and drink but for it is purely for the craft/ modelling market. I hope this helps. Many thanks.

**Q: Can you paint it?**
A: Yes, once it's baked, with Acrylic paint.  Both Sculpey and Acrylic paint are a plastic.

I've had a small bit out of the pack so it was actually fractionally larger than my photo (the cig lighter is there just for scale). I was expecting a larger pack and was surprised to see how small it was. I don't usually buy clay so i couldn't work out from the weight on the pack how big it was going to be. The product itself is fab though, mould whatever you like, 15 mins in the oven and its rock hard and ready to sand or leave as it is.
