Only if you have too. Ive purchased these sticks a few times before and it is a somewhat gamble when buying them. As they are quite cheap the quality can vary. The first time i bought these they had a few blemishes but other then that, they were great. Second time buying they were perfect. But then i bought 2 pairs recently, one pair was perfect, but the other pair had dark patches and a natural hole in each stick, few mm in depth. Im not complaining, but i just want people to know this may happen. I filled the holes with some filler stuff and they are fine. The dark areas are only cosmetic, so im happy. Plus, the stronger you grip your drum sticks the more they will break. I have quite a loose grip and my band plays Alternative Rock/pop and these sticks will last over a month surprisingly. The reason i say this is because i read before people complaining these sticks break easy, but for me they dont. Must be the drummer, not the stick in my opinion.
