Review: Highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to get the most out of their speakers. - I bought this , not only because it’s cheap but to see if it really does change the sound that much , and after some testing I’m genuinely very impressed with this piece of equipment. The speakers I’m using are a pair of Behringer Eurolive VP2520 which do sound quite good but definitely lack the crisp highs you’d expect from higher end speakers which is expected considering the price of these speakers , after installing this sonic ultramizer and testing at different levels using the process and low contour knobs to find the sweet spot , it makes quite a significant difference , I can tell the difference by simply pressing the in/out button on the front of the unit which bypasses it so that’s a nice little thing to have for testing! Honestly , the only way I can describe the sound is , it sounds more full and has more presence , the bass doesn’t sound boomy it gives it more punch and brings out more highs in songs and just sounds nicer overall. I can highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get more out of their speakers whether they are big or small I believe you will notice a difference and for £55 , it’s definitely worth it. You might not be able to tell any audible difference with the video I provided , after watching the video the difference is subtle but in person it’s a way bigger difference

The two controls for each channel are simple. I have found that the bounce enhancement is the most useful. This does not make the mix deeper but acts to enhance mid bass tones so it feels that you hear it clearer. It does not enhance stereo spread. Its use for me is in a studio where it takes the final mix and sorts out clarity. So that mastering is not really needed. The straight recording is good when it comes out this rack unit. Note all io is TRS balanced or XLR. No TS available. The unit introduces no noise. the effect bypass button does bump a bit but nothing that could blow speakers. I found that there are no balance issues with pot positions n stereo use. This a very low cost rack unit that gives really good results in sound quality.

**Q: Does this replace the need for graphic equalizer? Anyone using both?**
A: Hi their Yes i use both i have got a 30 cannel graphic in my tower and i also use a 15 cannel with the ultramizer in conjuunction together
for a clearer sound the sonic do's help but to get a nice pumping sound with the bass then yes it will do what you need the process high end
makes it a bit tinny but when you push the in and out button it pulls it together.
hope this will help you with it. but yes you can use them both together

**Q: Can i use behringer su9920 sonic Ultramizer sound Enhancement processor with a crossover?**
A: I didn’t get on with the crossover . Didn’t suit my speaker set up. Also, double check the wiring sockets. Not good for home use.

**Q: Will all the wire connections come with the processor for my amplifier, or do I have them?**
A: No, You will need 4 mono cables (balanced is better) or mono to rca connectors

**Q: Does this have agc (automatic gain control) or something similar to “level” the volumes from different tracks?**
A: no it does not have any input gain. as this comes from a mixer out or effect send the sound is levelled before reaching the unit hope this helps

Great value for the money! My music system now sounds much better - would recommend, and this comes from a music gear snob who always thought that Behringer is pile of junk - ohh what a mistake, my apologies to people from Behringer
