Any one had it long enough to comment?** A: I have had mine for 2 yearsIt must be that the wool is sew into a panel inside each shape, as mine gets washed often and it all remains in place every time. Understand cream makes white bedding not white!** A: Yes correct but what I did was cover it with a cotton white duvet cover as a slip and then any light coloured duvet cover don't show the cream through. It well worth the extra expense **Q: Where is the polypropylene interliner -between wool layers? Doesn't this affect the moisture dissipation and breathability of the quilt?** A: I would think this synthetic layer does affect the natural ability of wool to dissipate moisture and the breathability of this duvet. This synthetic layer makes this duvet one to avoid. **Q: I'm a very sensitive sleeper I want to buy one but am worried about the noise people say?** A: Initially as with all new wool duvets that make a slight noise, different to any standard type of duvet, but I never found it annoying and it was actually quite soothing. Once the duvet is bedded in a bit more then it softens up and becomes like any other duvet. We have all changed to wool duvets in our house since we initially bought it for our daughter who has multiple allergies and switching to a wool duvet dramatically improved her quality of sleep. We bought one for us as standard duvets were either too hot or too cold, with the wool duvet we don't have that problem anymore and no need to change duvets for summer either. We also recently bought one for a second daughter who suffers from really hot feet at night that would wake her up, since changing her duvet she doesn't wake up in the night. Now after a few months use we are converts! My wife, being of a certain age is prone to hot flushes at night time. These have become much comfiest for both of us since using this quilt. It appears to breathe far better than a 'normal' quilt. Where we sometimes woke up with the sheet wet from her perspiration this no longer happens. Despite its thickness the quilt has kept us warm when it was cold and cool when it was warm.
