## Questions & Answers

**Q: can i open these shapes into their nets?**
A: Don't understand what you mean? The shapes are solid. The base of each shape can be removed and in the centre of each base is a small removable disc. You can fill them with water, sand etc., to compare volume and discuss capacity. Hope this helps? Incidentally this is a really good product, just watch out for the pyramids as the tips are extremely sharp - I used a nail file to smooth them down.

**Q: Do you need to keep the small circular pieces?**
A: I guess you don't have to but you would need to maybe if you were filling them with something, e.g. rice. I've kept them with the shapes.

**Q: How big are these, approximately?**
A: They are a good size for small hands. Adult could hold 2 or 3 in open hand. Very sturdy too.

**Q: Does this come with a sheet with names on?**
A: Yes it does, it comes with a leaflet which explains all the shapes . Brilliant visual learning aid.

I bought these for my outdoor preschool class. I was a bit disappointed as they seem as they may break when dropped on a concrete floor so I have been nervous to use them much. But the shapes are a great size and accurate. Better for indoor use.
