After shelling out £165 for a new tyre this is a bargain. It works for any piece of metal on, or just under the surface. It's not ground penetrating radar but it finds really small items with ease. To avoid back trouble I Gaffa taped a plastic tube to it, cut to length which allowed a sweeping action.AddendumIt won’t charge any more. It still works plugged into the mains but that sort of limits it’s usefulness out in the field. Unless a long extension lead is available. It would need to be a very long extension lead. I changed the rechargeable batteries, still no joy. I’ll be looking for a long extension lead.
