I bought these Caffily CBTL espresso pods and each one gets stuck in the machine. The espresso tastes better, but my husband has to pry out each pod with a screwdriver. Not an ideal situation. They are not easy to get out. **Q: Will these work in a Starbucks Verismo 580 machine. There K cups are smaller than Keurig. Plz advise** A: Don’t know the difference, but this pod worked perfectly in a Starbucks Verismo 600 machine. This pod does have a small opening on the bottom since it brews regular (non-espresso) coffee. It dropped in, brewed, and ejected out tj bottom without issue. **Q: Are these like k-fee cups?** A: I believe so, but I really wouldn't bother with this brand. This is extremely weak coffee... like the kind you'd get out of those automatic machines that drop the cup and the coffee (hopefully in that order). I tried these in my Starbucks Verismo - they do fit. **Q: Can this be used in a Starbuck's Verismo system?** A: I use them in a Verismo. According to Starbucks, you're not supposed to use anything but Verismo pods. The CBTL work well, but I will tell you that they sometimes get stuck and need a bit of persuasion to get them out. Thanks and enjoy great coffee :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of my Favorite Expressos! *by W***W on April 23, 2016* Based upon other reviews, I decided I'd give these CBTL pods a try as an alternative to the Starbucks ones. Simply put, they're a great alternative with only one small downside. The flavor of the expresso is very strong, bold and deeply on the smoky and chocolaty side. I'd compare this flavor to the French Roast, but it's much stronger in flavor and aroma. It's a classic espresso with a decent crema, that also provides a unique taste that is quite different than the Starbucks classic expresso and Guatamalian roasts. This is a regular in my pod drawer. As for the one downside, I've noticed that the coffee output is slightly lower with the CBTL pods than the Starbucks pods. If I had to estimate a figure, I'd say you get 5-8% less in your cup, but you wouldn't notice unless you had them side by side. The problem with this is that your discarded pod bin in your Verismo starts to fill up with water. If you don't clean out the bin regularly you'll start to develop a funk in there. As a test, as soon as I finished brewing, I pulled the discarded pod out and it still had water being retained. When compared to a Starbucks cup, this isn't the case.
