I guessed from the description and illustration that this Mini 4 version would have the same virtues and that seems to be case. The Perspex back shows off the back of the iPad and, more importantly, since it's going to be gripped almost continually, it doesn't seem to mark or scuff in the way other materials might. It clips on easily and is easy to remove if necessary but it's a firm fit and my older example has never parted company with the iPad accidentally; in spite of a five-yr-old granddaughter who claims it as her own when she visits.
